Orness Design Group has a history of working on LEED-registered projects and regularly contributes to LEED certification. One of the first projects to achieve LEED CI Gold in San Diego was for our client, Intuit (pictured and featured on this website). Becoming certified requires a team dedicated to the sustainable design process and the capacity to implement. To meet the criteria of the US Green Building Council (USGBC), the owner, architect, general contractor, and design team members must collaborate and contribute their expertise effectively. Our staff—including two LEED Accredited Professionals— continually completes training sessions to gain advanced knowledge in refrigeration management, water conservation, and energy efficiencies. This knowledge is the key to a successful team. Orness Design Group has been a voting member of the USGBC since 2007. |
